FIVE STEPS TO YOUR
A "MOVING" EXPERIENCE
In the weeks before you actually move, please feel free to
call me for the names of service people who can help you get
settled in your new house.
Although it is possible to move on the same day that your
transaction closes, we don't advise it. Should your lawyer
not be able to close your deal until late in the day, it makes
the move a rather frantic experience! Often it's wiser to
wait until the following day to make the move - or even later
if you plan to do some work on your new home.
One suggestion we can make is that you keep all of your closing
documents together in one file. These documents should include
your deed, your mortgage papers, receipts and lawyer's reporting
letter. You will want to refer to them on occasion and in
some instances, they will be necessary for your income tax
If you're new to this area, this will be a very exciting time
for you - a time to discover all of the attractions of this
great city. See such sites as www.pec.on.ca for some terrific information about our area.
For us, it's important that you know this is not the end
of our relationship. Most of our friends started out as clients
- and we hope you'll keep in touch, too. We plan to maintain
contact with you!
Don't forget we're here to help. We'd love it if you'd tell
your friends about us and our website. We'd love to help them,
Thank you very much for letting us be your agents.
